About
Jeff is a commercial director, husband and dad of two girls out of Nashville, TN. He grew up making videos with his friends, and can truly tell no difference between running around stuffing mini-dv tapes in his cargo pocket as a chubby 10yr old, and on set today. The thread connecting them all, is fun.
His on-camera and improv background brings ease and left-of-center suggestions to anything he’s brought on to direct. In addition to comedy Jeff also plays in the sports directing arena. Famously, as you probably know, he was the backup left guard for the Brentwood Middle School Vikings. He did lose his spot to a 7th grader after the coach made them race in front of the whole team, but he rarely thinks about that, so it’s fine.
A major collaborator with a best-idea-wins mentality, Jeff approaches every project with a prep-to-play mindset and a love for solving problems creatively; whether it’s a production challenge, a weird script problem, or an ambitious ask from a client.
On the shelf, there’s Emmys, CLIOs, Addys, Webbys, Hastags and ACMs but is still chasing the Eastern Idaho State Fair Open Class Potato Sculpture Achievement Award after he was disqualified last year from some real BS.
